Musical Interpretation Different Orquestas with Patio de Tango

FIVE WEEKS exploring the musicality of dancing to different Tango Orquestas! Thursdays 22 November - 20 December 2018
Instructors: Pedro Alvarez & Belen Silva. Class Level: INT/ADVANCED
Each week we interpret a particular song from a different orchestra, to adapt our dance to the style and nuances of the music - the individual instruments, the singer, the rhythm, the musical phrasing and the ‘mood’ of the song.

Week 2: Thursday 29 November - Orquesta RODOLFO BIAGI
Week 3: Thursday 05 December - Orquesta MIGUEL CALO
Week 4: Thursday 12 December - Orquesta JUAN D’ARIENZO
Week 5: Thursday 19 December - Orquesta OSVALDO PUGLIESE

Full Course $125 (includes entry to Milonga La Catedral 9-11.45pm)
Casual per workshop: $30 (includes entry to Milonga La Catedral)

Patio de Tango Levels Guide:

Level 1 -10 weeks - Intro to Tango/Beginners- those who have never tried tango or want to refresh skill

Level 2- 30 weeks - Intermediate - those who have completed Level 1 at Patio de Tango or the equivalent

Level 3 - 40 weeks - Int/Advanced which can be repeated for more skills and experience - those who have completed Levels 1 & 2 and have had private assessment.
